Why 'Yamfoot' (in case u missed it)

Repost, for those who may be new to this site which is now in its 15th month.

It's simple really. You just have to look at my feet to know. Then you'd see it's a size 11...and not a narrow width either. OK, so I haven't reached the stage where I have to get shoes custom made, but you know those slinky slender Italian shoes? They just wouldn't be able to go near my feet.

Mum says it's because when I was a kid, the first thing I did was kicked off the shoes, so my feet spread whey! So all you who have young kids, make sure they keep their shoes on.

Now, during my stories, I made reference several times to my yamfeet. Click below for a picture, and more on the yamfeet.

(Them don't look too too bad?)

Then when I was looking for a name for this website, I asked my friends to suggest names for the site that they'd quickly associate with me. Adwoa (Miss Shanti) suggested this....and quickly clarified that it wasn't because she thought my feet were yamish, but that I had used it several times in my stories.

In particular, there was one where I had left her flat in South London to walk back to the tube station and I referred to the shoes being tight and them squeezing my yamfeet as I walked on the cobble stone (bad thing to walk on when your feet hurt!)

So there you have it. No disease, just size 11 yamfoot feet!

Walking barefoot does not a yamfoot make.

I have a 20 month old niece with two yam feet; and a seven year old who has one yam foot.

I - who have walked for more than 30 years with my ten commandments pressed to God's earth, do not.

Later Babe.

Size 11 is quite large I must say.

Thanks for the enlightenment.

Yeah, my Mom told me the same silly thing because like you I hated shoes ( still do) and from I knew myself, I always wore slippers. I am indeed a size 11 like you, Mich and couldn't have it any other way because I am close to 6 feet!!!Up to this day I still prefer wearing slippers and sandals to work rather than closed up shoes. Plus I can show off my well manicured toes!!!
I think big feet are more genetic than anything else...
Just developed the Netball pixs...lawd they need work!!!

I find your name very origial and cute. I'm sure your heart is a size 11 too. Although I do not have size 11's I have always been a slippers person myself. I even wear them through the winter (in the house of course) here in Canada. Let those feet breathe girls. Have a good drive in the country this week end Yamfoot.

Yes, Big your feet may be. Nevertheless, I have always thought that they were beautiful. Has anyone ever noticed Michelle's heels? they're soft, buttered like, warm, and comely. Not to mention those lovely toes, which when painted, are like unwraped redberry sweets waiting to be consumed. Mich I love your feet

Why thank you Froggie!

I shoulda told everybody how I discovered the secret to looking "well-heeled" from you, that day when you instructed me on the use of good ole vaseline. Thanks again.

Size 11 eh? I remember watching a show with Roy Acoff and he asked if anyone knows why Dolly Parton has small feet.
Well, the answer was because nothing grows well under shade.
Opps! Let me curtail my imagination.
Very good effort on your site. I like it.

Dr D, you'd better ask Froggie what he meant by "comely". I certainly don't!

Tops, that answer is quite true it seems, that's why my feet grew and grew and grew!
