First official day off in about 4 weeks. How am I going to spend it? Working of course. No rest for the wicked. Things to do, people to train, material to prepare.
But I will spend the day part of the day doing business transactions (I can't say "go to the bank" here because they will kidnap me!) and searching for stuff I need. What stuff do you need Yamfoot? Well nothing I really NEED, but perhaps a few things I WANT.....which includes some Haagen Dazs. Only then will I be ready to start working (on my day off)
Posted by yamfoot at October 6, 2003 04:33 AMListen here now.You better stop this ice-cream thing before Patch has a go at you when you get back. Oh, see if they have Pralines and Cream, that's good....just kidding.
Posted by: Sis at October 7, 2003 12:01 AMOh, you are in T&T now, huh? Tell me, have the kidnappers killed anyone yet, or does everybody pay the ransom? Thats what I haven't figured out?

Mad Bull, everybody pays the ransom. haven't heard of any killings from kidnappings since I have been here. i guess they will call that progres!
Posted by: Michelle at October 8, 2003 12:57 AMMichelle, I am finally back on line as of this afternoon.
I had heard of a businessman who was kidnapped in T&T and after paying the heavy ransom and being released, advertised for people to take on the case to find the kidnappers for a 'smalls' shall we say. Do you know if there is any truth to this? Can't say I wrong him.

Posted by: Michelle at October 12, 2003 03:33 AMLightening caused a power surge dat did lick it Michelle. It was very much off and connected to its surge protector. (Don't underestimate the power of lightening!) Power supply, motherboard and modem had to be changed as they were fried.
