On Thursday last, I announced that 22 October was my birthday. A colleague said she had to send me some Haagen Dazs since I was not going to be in Calypso Land but in Spice Land for my birthday. Well I thought that was what she said. So later that afternoon, I saw her again and she asked what flavour. And if they didn't have Cookies & Cream? Then Pralines & Cream. I thought she was kidding.
Later that night, I get a call to say she is coming up to the restaurant. With guess what? Haagen Dazs! Made my night, especially since I had to be up early for a 6:00 am flight, much to my dislike.
People don't realize that it's the little things they do that make others feel special.

Posted by: Mad Bull at October 12, 2003 08:42 AMBut I guess its just semantics huh? A colleague can be your friend too, I guess.
Posted by: Mad Bull at October 12, 2003 08:45 AMCorrect Mad Bull, I can think of one colleague who definitely is a friend.
Mich...I wonder if I can send you some Haagen Dazs to you via the net??? Never mind, I suppose it is the thought that counts. :-)
