Rain, rain and more rain

It was Bim's turn last week, now ours. As I got dressed this morning, a noise drew my attention to the sliding door. There, in the middle of the sunshine, were buckets and buckets of rain. Naturally, as this is the Caribbean, after about 10 minutes it stopped.

But throughout the day, there were many such instances. As I write, it is now pouring...

I am on my way 'home' and wished that in the midst of this rain, there were buckets and buckets of men from which I could choose a tall, dark and handsome one to cuddle up to.

(Aint I ambitious in my 'old' age)

So what are you saying? Man shortage deh a Grenada? Woi yoi! We must be able to find some to send down there to help out, nuh true? ;-) But how important are the qualities you asked for? For instance, I know a Doctor who could be packed pretty quickly... but him nuh dark, and wuss, him nuh handsome! :-))

I read it and yes it might be nice if it rained men. I guess they'd have very strong and tough, so as to survive the fall from the sky. No hope there for soft, gentle men like me.

i don't need tyson beckford looks necessarily...in fact, i remember commenting in primary school when i saw Mrs butterfield's husband, that i think i would like a husband who not so handsome, so that nobody would tek him away. that was before i decided i wasn't getting hitched!

It rains heavily in JA almost everyday. Yesterday I was driving 'itsy bitsy' when it started to pour. In less than ten minutes I found myself in some deep waters in liguanea (of all places). I had to park in a lot until it subsided as I am sure I would have been swept away. The capital city and the drainage is this poor. Can you imagine other areas.

With regard to the man thing: tall, dark and handsome usually comes with a dirty attitude, some deep dark secret, or hundreds of women and nuff heart ache. 'No so good looking' is always better although they too cause nuff stress.

help me out here.... is 'Dale' handsome or pretty?
Anyway, don't knock the 'old age' thing. My Aunt got married for the first time at age 52. I think a lot depends on how much you are willing to take what they (men) have to give/offer/loan (:0).
