Shattered Peace

The usually quiet neighbourhood of Hope Pastures, threatened to be overrun with patrons to Appleton Hotshots last night at the Hope Gardens Bandstand (right in our back yard). But the rains saved the day and the show was.....no, not cancelled, but...postponed.

So at 2:00pm today, Sunday, a usually quiet time in my neck of the Pastures, the juke boxes cranked up, the mike tests began and it seems like now - a whole hour after the re-scheduled start time - they are just about to get the live music started.

Heaven help us!
