Just back from family vacation in Orlando, where we:-
1. Got lost
2. Got lost again
3. Got lost again and again
4. Got lost again and again and again
5. Got lost again and again and again and again
6. Got lost again and again and again and again and again
7. FOUND OUR WAY AT LAST....to the airport to depart the 'Great' USA
American Airlines ("More Room in Coach Except if You Have Long Legs") did a number on us by being delayed from Orlando to Miami, resulting in us missing the Miami/Kingston connection and having to stay in Miami Airport for 7 hours.
Next time, (but we're not in a hurry to go back to the 'Great' USA after too many long lines to be processed because of fingerprinting and picture-taking), we'll fly direct with Jamdown Airways ("Less Room in Coach but Still Comfortable Anyway").
Continue reading to see the pictures....
The view from the plane on the way from Kingston to Miami. Is this what heaven is supposed to look like?
This van was lucky to have had us for renters. We got lost driving around so made full use of the tank of gas....and then some. It's a Chevy Venture. I guess that meant we were to go on adventures all over the place which we sure did.
Just so we could remember where we parked, I took a picture of where we left the van
We're here at last.....
The first ride we decided we were not going on. It's called Incredible Hulk
Her name is Storm. Only those of you who have kids would have known that.
We were brave enough to try this one. Flying Unicorn. Maaaaaaaaaan, I felt like I was going to be tossed out when it took off. Geez. Scary. Lots of screams. Couldn't take any pictures while I was on it. Sorry.
My nephew said he had to go on this one called Duelling Dragons. He went alone. More power to him. I give you three pictures so you can see very clearly that legs dangle in the air, as you hang from the top.
Here's a larger one so you can see what I'm talking about.
This was more my style. Very gentle and slow.
No, we didn't eat here. The place was loaded with places designed to take away your money. Everywhere you go, there's a food place. Very expensive. Pack your lunch!
Scenic views. They do look like islands don't they.
Oh goody, you're back... I am waiting on the pics...

Posted by: Michelle at January 12, 2004 02:17 AMMichelle, I can understand why you did not try out the Hulk. You might want to read Seven's entry at the Tower about her experience in the same place over Christmas.
My motto is, "Coward man keep sound bone."
And I agree with you, stick to Air J in future....AA sucks IMHO.
Wow!These photos are very good! Recognized some "head backs" from one of the earlier photos!
Thanks for sharng the excitement and fun with those of us who are "stuck" for whatever reason!
Happy you all had a god time...for Patrick, too!
Patch was the 'Night Watchman' so he was not able to come.
Posted by: Michelle at January 13, 2004 05:51 PMTell, the folks how much more lost we would have got if someone who shall remain nameless had driven. At least we didn't collide with any speed demons on the highways....which is always a distinct possibility.
