Got up (obviously), but at close to 6am instead of the 4 something that I set the clock for. Need you ask? Cricket of course. But apparently, I heard the alarm and rolled right back over, so that's how come I woke up later.
Good thing I overslept, for there had been rain, no play, and I would have wasted my time. Watched cricket then went to clean up the mutts. Decided that their food would have been too dry without meat or scrapings, so went down to Sovereign where I bought some Kidney (and other things), then to Superplus where I bought meat shavings packaged as 'dog food' (the dog food in Sovereign had bones...not suitable for small pup).
Back home, watched Chris Gayle's century stroke on the replay, and fed the mutts who appreciated that I had gone to great lengths to get them some meat. They devoured the food.
Watched more TV. ABC's 'The View'. Then went on the computer, then went back to watch part of 'Days of Our lives', then part of 'Passions'. I'm not a TV person so only watched bits of each (with soaps, that's all you need and you can gather what you missed real easy).
Made some telephone calls afterwards, ate dinner, chatted with family, played with nephew, played with dogs, washed dishes, read, helped niece with Maths homework, made Horlicks for nephew, ran a bath with hot water for niece, and typed this blog.
Pretty boring you think? No, just nice and relaxing. And throughout the day, I had to manage the excruciating pain in my hip....a casualty of going to the Dam twice in one day, me thinks. Or maybe it's just old age?
(And oh, I had a shower - just in case oonu was wondering!)
