What was I thinking?

I left Grenada in 2001 to go to school. The intention was to go for a year. So I left some stuff with friends. It's going on 3 years now, so I thought I'd better sort through the things, give away what I don't want anymore etc.

Well, I just opened two boxes and thought to myself "what was I thinking?". Some things in there that I should have thrown away at the time, or given away.

It took me being away from the stuff for nearly 3 years to realize that I really didn't need all that junk.

One prized possession in the stuff I've unpacked is an autographed picture of Desmond Leo Haynes.

Dr D, if you know who that is, I'll give you a prize!

I added to the booty this weekend. My collection now includes:

1) A History of West Indies autographed by Michael Manley in 95 before he sucuumbed to prostate cancer.

2) Two autographed copies of Heart of A Lion. I was at Leceister in 1999 WI vs Scotland and Courtney autographed one for me. Those books were missing a section of pages and were recalled. I got him to autograph a 'good' copy at a signing in Trinidad.

3) A copy of the Man in the Middle autographed by Cuthbert Gordon Greenidge.

4) And finally a copy of Lara's autobiography autographed by BCL on Sunday 25th April 2004.

5) An article about Richards, Hall and Weekes autographed by all of the above.

I have to keep working onthe collection ... As I recall, my dad has a copy of the Aussie tour with the tied test.

If you don't mind my asking....what's the prize? (If it is worthy I can do my homework....Google can do wonders!) ;-))

or how about a football match? there's one in Grenada this sunday that I will go to if the weather is good. Morocco vs CAribbean all star team.

The football match sounds good, slight problem though...me deh pon call. Guess we will have to wait for the Quad liason.
