I went around once without stopping!

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you would have heard me say (or seen me write...however you prefer to look at it) that one of my goals is to be able to jog once around Mona reservoir without stopping.

Well, today I went around once, but it wasn't Mona reservoir. It was the cricket field at UWI Cave Hill campus in Barbados. Maybe the cricket was the inspiration, or it was the fact that Brian Lara, two days before, jogged from there to the Kensington Oval.

That jog today was part of a 1hr 45mins walk for me this morning, which included walking uphill along that highway which goes from Simpson Motors round about (well really D'arcy Scott roundabout) to UWI. Last time I did that, my butt muscles hurt the next day.

But success doesn't come without pain so I press on.

Oh, the scale here lying AGAIN. It's saying I've lost 5 pounds since I've been away and I say that can't be right. It probably malfunctioning. Like last time, I have to wait until I go home to weigh on the scale at the gym to corroborate this.

If true, it means that since the start of the year, I would have lost 17 pounds.

Well, if the scale telling the truth, then I'd say 17 pounds since the year started is quite an achievement.

Big up, Michele. As the Doc said, I too need to lose a few. I recently did a medical for my new job, and I was shocked and dismayed to learn that I now weigh 195 Lbs. I can't believe it! I have always weighed 183... always! When the @#$%? did that happen!
