From pilates to yoga

I'm being very adventurous.

Tonight, I went to the gym at 7:30pm, feeling way tired, and having a headache. I said to myself that I'll just do a 45 minutes or so, nothing too strenuous, because I didn't sleep very well last night.

I looked on the class schedule and saw that Susan the Pilates teacher, was doing a yoga class in a few minutes. Purrrrrrfect. Just what the (Guyanese) doctor ordered.

Mi dear mahs, again, with this seemingly mild form of exercise, I was bussing a sweat after 10 minutes!

If I do this for a couple of weeks, I will be able to contort my body into any position I like.

Now she should have issued a warning.

YOGA IS HAZARDOUS TO YAMFOOT'S POLISHED NAILS

The right toe had a chip on it. I only noticed it tonight when I took off my sneakers and socks before the class. But in addition to the chip, after the class, there was a black spot. You see, you have to rest your toes along the floor. The mats they have are for aerobics and they don't work too well for the yoga positions.

The left toe was also black.

Just so you don't have to visualize, here are two pics of the big toes. First the right toe with the chip and black mark from the floor....

Now for the left toe with the black mark...

(You see the lovely colour polish on the toes?)

Yes Mich, that is YOUR colour. Just like the floral dress with the same orangy pattern that 'we ' so like you to wear. Bwoy the 'hancial' and 'footial' stuff can't work when you have to actually do stuff like wash dishes and exercise.....there must be another way.

dem soon take my picture in that dress! But i've found some other fabric I had in Grenada, so I can make a few others. One is bright bright orange with lime green, so I can wear my lime green shoes with it!

Dr D, look on the second picture right where the arrow head is. On the first one, the light kind of blocks the black mark.
