6 months

That's how much time the doctors have given a lady who I know of. She is in her 40's I would think, with an 11 year old son.

Sad thing is she doesn't know. Had a brain operation to remove a tumour, the doctors found more. Has about 4 - 6 and they are agressive.

So, the question for you all is.....if you were told that you had six months to live, what would you do?

Me?

I'd spend my money and go somewhere that I've always wanted to go - Anguilla, Providence in Rhode Island.

Then I'd write something detailing how I was spending the 6 months, and my feelings during that period.

Then I would spend time with people who matter.

Oh, I'd also go to watch the Worst Indies play against England in England this summer....after all, what ah would be saving the money fuh?

What would you do?

THe first question I would have for myself is - would I tell anyone. not sure there,

What would I do??? I would gather some friends, charter some transport - (a jet, a yacht etc.) and go travelling. Since you would be there, I would be able to drop you in Anguilla (I could wait for you in Sint Martin) - but who really knows? We all have to die, it just seems sad when you have a specific time frame.

That is sad. I don't have much time to read now, but when I get back on Thursday I see I will have a lot of catching up to do.

I did a class last year where they asked what you would do if you knew you were dying and I said something like finally write that book. Then I thought to myself why should I wait till I'm dying to do that if I really want to do it.

Not sure if I would tell anyone that I was dying though although I guess that would be a bit selfish on my part

I know what I have to do now so I can do what I want to do when I have six months to live.....I NEED TO SAVE MORE MONEY!!! How can I go travelling with all you with no funds. Living...dying right takes money.
I may say more later on when I think about it.

I agree with what Mad Bull said above....at the same time I would also try to do a lot of the things in life that bring me pleasure and surround myself with my family and friends. Thinking about this may well stimulate a post from me...we shall see.
