It's back!

Cricket, that is.

Starting Friday, West Indies play Bangladesh in the second test. All those who thought that we would have walked over the lowest ranked cricket team had another thing coming after the 1st test ended in a draw today.

Hopefully, the pitch at Sabina Park won't be as dead as the one in St Lucia, and we will see some lively cricket.

The players and everybody else comes in tomorrow, and there will be a social in the evening which I will be attending. They're a nice set of guys in the team....I don't know why people keep saying they don't get along.

So, you'll be watching cricket and doing the social thingy eh? Enjoy it, most doubtful that you'll buck me up...unless of course, you'd want to give me an invi to the social thingy as your newly found Doc escort! ;-)

Just did some catching up on current events by reading today's Gleaner. What you haffi seh bout Brian Lara's comment...if dem nuh win him a go resign?? As a big timer in the cricket world...you must have some views to share now Yammie! ;-)) (I can imagine the commentary over at Ryan!)

I will try work on a post later.

well of course we are going to win, so he's not going to resign, but it sounded good to the anti-Lara-ites (I'm not one of those). I don't think that he is the major problem in WI cricket. It comes from the top, and the selection. Unsuitable method of selection is 50% of the problem.
