Don't it paint a purdy picture?

Seared Swordfish with a Citrus Salsa. Dinner tonight, along with Callaloo (dasheen leaves) Ravioli with Blue Cheese Sauce, and Nutmeg Souffle with Guava Ice Cream.

(and of course you are reading it and saying to yourself "why Yamfoot bodder complain fuh, and she go order all this fattening food?")

Well actually I just tasted most of it. The only thing (sadly) that I ate all of was the Dessert.

Anyway, this is what the Swordfish looked like....Aint it purdy?

Fellas, fellas, fellas. The portions are that size because they expect you to have all the courses. That would be an Appetizer, then Soup, then Salad or Sorbet, then Main course, Then dessert, then Petit Fours, then tea or coffee. Oh, and the chef's surprise comes before the Appetizer.

So, if they give you ah hem....yam size portions at each course, you will bus'!!!

Had another delicious meal tonight. But this time I went down to the restaurant instead of having Room Service.

I had.....

Red Onion and Goat Cheese Tart (yummy, yammy)
Fish Soup with dumpling
Garlic Roast chicken with a curried okra stew and mashed something (dasheen? yam? cant remember)
Cinammon ice cream.

Actually, I had ordered the dessert entitled "A Study in Orange" which was an orange pie, and orange sorbet and something else orange. It was just too tart for me, so I had the ice cream instead.

And there was tea to finish up.

Oh, and there were two whole wheat rolls (delicious) with sage butter.

I don't know what Petit Fours is, but I would rather have 6 or 7 of them miself.
