De blasted rain ruined everything....cho man!

After I finished what I had to do today, the plan was to go driving around the part of the island I have not yet seen...the Atlantic side. Just as I was wrapping up at the office, a piece ah rain no buss mah!

Thinking that it was going to be a typical Caribbean shower...short, sharp bursts...ah seh when a done eat mi lunch back at the hotel, it woulda stop. Stop what! The rain fall, it fall, it fall.

When it finally abated somewhat, I ventured down to the ferry dock, driving veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrry slowly cause mi did fraid. Lots of lightening, zig zag lightening, and of course thunder. Guess who shreaked each time the lightening struck? You bet.

The drainage I dare say is not very good, so there was piles and piles of water on the road.

I also passed lots of goats who I guess were rained out from their pasture. You should have seen them scampering across the road.

All I could do is park the car back at the car rental lot, turn up the volume and shake my skin.

Gosh, I realize I'm itching for a dance with somebody who can dance! You don't know how badly I want to dance. Music gives me a high. While jigging in the car waiting for the ferry to come, I was thinking how when I go back to Jamaica, I must go back to those reggae dance aerobic classes at the gym.

Well I must go back to the gym period. In fact I'll probably go to the gym tomorrow. Rain can't spoil that.

That must've been one helluva sight Yammie, you getting your groove on in the car by yourself...nobody never see you and invite u out dancing? ;)

May I have this dance?

I like dancing, there is one dance that keeps eluding me and that is three step (I can do it to a point) and eventually I am going to learn this latin thing (livin la vida loca).

What kind of dancing are you into?
Let me know so I can go brush up a bit.

They don't have no nite clubs there or wha? Jus go club hopping and check the place out, they must have a wikid dancer at one of them. When you find him, challenge him to a dance off. You can then get your groove on till you drenched with sweat! Sounds good to me... go for it! ;-)

any kind of dancing except the fancy type like ballroom dancing. i leave those things to Miss P who is a darn good dancer.

They have a night club at the Marriott, but that going to be touristy. There is also one called Dolce Cabana, so will check that out one night.
