The right decision

I've just read in the Sunday Gleaner, that Donna Duncan-Scott, who is head of Jamaica Money Market Brokers, has decided to take 2005 off. It is speculated that she wants to spend more time with her two young children during their formative years.

I agree 100% with her decision. I have always said to myself that if I were to have a child, I would not want to work full time.

But hey, I don't work full time now so nothing would have to change really!.....Oh, so maybe I'm preparing for a kid by establishing this working pattern huh?

Excellent decision.

It is a good decision indeed. Clearly she can afford to do it as well. Not every woman is able to do that because of financial constraints.

nope, not home yet MB. But then the Caribbean is my home really. So I in St Kitts....yeah man, I deh home.

Yes, I agree with the lady wholeheartedly. Those who can afford it and dont do it, dont realize what a disservice they are doing to their kids by not being there in the formative years.
