What killed Laura?

No. I don't know her personally, but I know who she is....sorry was.

In the death column yesterday in the Gleaner, there is was. Laura Mae Ewart, died suddenly in Sunnyvale England. She's got to be in her 30's.

Who is she and how do I know who she is?

She's the daughter of Barclay Ewart, a well known business man in Jamaica. Laura used to walk/jog at the Mona Dam with her sister and mother many mornings, so that's how come I recognized the face. But I woulda recognized the name too because of her father.

Her mother Glynne left her father to be with the late Michael Manley. That was quite a thing because appparently Barclay and Michael were friends.

Anyhow, when you read the death announcements, and there was no story about it in the newspaper previously, you often wonder don't you? "I wonder what killed this person?"

So I wonder what killed Laura? Must be something like aneurysm or one of them things. One of them things that don't give you no advanced warning. Cruel I tell you, just cruel.

Heard it was a heart attack! So much for jogging at the dam. I wonder if heart disease runs in her family?
