Rain, little play

Went to cricket today to see Jamaica start off on the road to their fourth straight victory against Guyana.

The day started out very hot, but the clouds came a-hovering and then the rains came at 11:37am. That was ok, because the players then took lunch and came back out around 12:25pm. They played in drizzle for quite a bit, then the heavens opened, as they say and it just never stopped.

There was a bit of a break when the umpires etc went to check, then they called off the game at minutes to 4. I just heard a preview of tonight's weather and the weather lady says more to come, so maybe I am staying put tomorrow.
