Promises, promises. This is the first of the many promises that will not materialize.
Anyway, my option #2 was just about right (just switch around di parties...which is what some people obviously did when they voted today). Maybe I can become a political analyst!
We await the recount with baited breath. But kudos to Lisa Hanna! Major victory!
Posted by yamfoot at September 3, 2007 11:12 PMWhat about the promises that the PNP has made for the past 18 years that have not materialized? The PNP was elected for 18 years and had an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Jamaicans. The electorate has now voted for a change by choosing to to elect a new government. That is what democracy is about. Give the JlP a fighting chance before declaring that their promises will not materialize. The government has not even been sworn in yet and already the criticisms abound.
A disappointed reader.
Name, you are probably a new reader to this blog and wouldnt recognize the difference when I am being serious and when I am, as they say in England 'taking the micky'.
Posted by: Yamfoot at September 5, 2007 12:57 PMWhy a major victory for Hanna ? If the PNP had rammed my dog Lion down the throats of SE St. Ann he would have done the same.
Posted by: Kelly at September 7, 2007 02:59 PMreally? so that area is safe PNP then.
